Description
The HR-BLACK is a small black plastic badge connector for attaching a slot-punched ID card or badge holder to a key ring. The connector passes through the slot in the card or holder, then snaps closed around a split ring, key ring, badge reel ring, lanyard ring, neck chain ring, zipper pull hole, or other small ring-style attachment point.
This is the small black piece shown in the product photos between the badge slot and the metal key ring. It creates a short locked connection without using a vinyl strap clip, bulldog clip, or lanyard hook. Use it when the badge or holder already has a standard slot punch and the carry method is based on a key ring.
The connector works best with flexible vinyl badge holders or thinner hard plastic badge holders with compatible slot holes. The closed connector has 1/4 inch connecting tab heights, a 5/8 inch overall tab height when snapped together, 1/2 inch inside length, and 1/4 inch inside width.
