The 2137-205X is a 5/8" (16mm) wide flat lanyard made from earth-friendly bamboo fiber with a breakaway safety connector and a no-twist wide plastic hook. Bamboo is a biodegradable cellulose fiber that breaks down naturally in the soil, preventing environmental pollution. Bamboo is also one of the fastest growing plants on earth, replanting within seven years compared to 30-50 years for most timber.
The bamboo fiber material is softer than cotton, has a silky texture, and naturally draws moisture away from the skin. The breakaway safety release disengages under pressure, reducing injury risk in healthcare, lab, and active work environments. The no-twist wide plastic hook keeps badge holders facing forward without rotating during wear. Total cut length is 36" (914mm) prior to assembly.
