Safety First Awareness

June is National Safety Month to bring awareness for keeping each other safe. Safety awareness applies at work, at home and on the road. Whether it be a family member or friend, caring for all human life forms requires taking safety precautions to keep each other safe. From following instructions for proper medication doses, wearing helmets and body protection gear during adventurous activities to common sense in avoiding falling and accidents. It pays to be aware of your surroundings for safety when doing everyday routines for yourself and for others.

There are First Aid classes available to be prepared in emergency situations. Take advantage of some free online classes as follows:NSC First Aid, CPR & AED Online course when you register by June 30, 2017. Availability is limited. Click on "New Student" and use Access Code: NSM2017.

Besides medical training, consider self defense training. Keep a safety supply kit available in house and in your car. When you put some thought into it, you can come up with some basic essentials and protocols as safety preventative measures for you and your loved ones.

Our "Safety First" lanyards would be perfect day or nighttime wear. The message "Safety First" promotes awareness alone, but an extra bonus is that the lanyard is reflective with glow in the dark print for visibility at night. Ideal for school cross guards, construction/road workers, camping trips, Halloween (trick or treating), outdoor concerts, etc. Lanyards allow for quick and easy access to your keys, badge holders, a whistle or small tools... endless possibilities.

So remember... Safety First! Be aware and knowledgeable in handling emergency situations and look out for one another!
