It has its own LCD and buttons, USB, two USB host ports and Ethernet, and a physical lock on the ribbon plus a Kensington slot. A magnetic stripe encoder (651160) or contactless encoder (651161) can be installed inside it. The first printer runs as master and a second as slave; IDP pairs a YMC printer with a KO printer for up to 364 single-sided color cards an hour with partial-area printing (288 with full-area printing). The printer sets its own module ID, and the second printer connects to the first by USB cable. It also serves as a direct replacement printer module.
