Description
The 2135-4001 is a black adjustable cord lock designed to work as a replacement or add-on neck closure for round 3/8", flat 3/8", and flat 5/8" lanyards. The plastic housing measures approximately 1/2" (17.5mm) and contains a friction mechanism that grips the lanyard cord when closed and releases when the button is pressed, allowing the loop length to be adjusted for wearer fit.
Cord locks let wearers shorten or extend their lanyard to a comfortable hang length without cutting or re-splicing the cord. This is useful when a single lanyard length needs to fit staff with different neck and torso sizes, or when the hang length needs adjusting for different badge holder sizes and attachment setups.
