Printer compatibility: This ribbon is made for the Evolis Securion ID card printer and some legacy Evolis printers. It is not compatible with the Quantum 2. For Quantum 2 color printing, see the R3511 (500 prints per roll).
The Evolis R3011 HighTrust YMCKO ribbon prints 200 full-color single-sided cards per roll on the Securion. Five panels per card: Yellow, Magenta, Cyan, resin Black, and a clear Overlay. The Overlay panel applies a 2.7-micron protective varnish over every print, guarding against abrasion, UV fading, and daily wear. Evolis testing shows this overlay extends card life to three years under normal use.
Evolis HighTrust ribbons carry an embedded RFID tag the Securion reads before every print run. This tag authenticates the ribbon, auto-configures print settings, and tracks remaining prints so you never run out mid-batch. Without a valid HighTrust ribbon, the Securion will not print.
Note: The Securion is a discontinued Evolis printer. Evolis continues to supply genuine ribbons for organizations running Securion units in service.
