The 1840-6500 is a slim frosted rigid polycarbonate badge holder with a side-load design and thumb notch for fast one-handed card access. Cards insert from the side and are held securely until the wearer presses the thumb notch on the back panel, allowing quick card removal for swiping, scanning, or inspection without detaching the holder from its lanyard or reel.
Fits one standard CR80 (credit card sized) card at 30 mil thickness. Compatible with RFID smart cards, CAC, PIV, TWIC, TSA credentials, fuel cards, and standard photo ID badges. The frosted polycarbonate shell protects cards from scratches, bending, and dust while keeping the card face fully readable. The frosted finish diffuses direct light, reducing glare in outdoor and bright-light environments where clear badge holders become difficult to read.
The holder includes both a slot hole and a chain hole, giving full flexibility for attachment to lanyards, badge reels, strap clips, neck chains, and carabiner-style accessories.
