Acknowledging it does not itself constitute consent to optional cookies, targeted advertising, email marketing, SMS marketing, or automated calls. Where applicable law requires separate consent, that consent must be obtained separately from this Policy.

This Privacy Policy explains how Specialist ID, Inc. ("Specialist ID," "we," "our," or "us") collects, uses, discloses, and protects personal information when you visit https://www.specialistid.com, its subdomains, affiliated websites, or mobile experiences; create an account; communicate with us; request a quote or sample; or purchase products or services (collectively, the "Services"). It applies to customers and Website visitors in the United States and in the other countries where we offer the Services. Specialist ID, Inc., 7760 NW 56th St., Doral, Florida 33166, is the business or controller responsible for the processing described in this Policy unless another entity is identified at checkout for a particular transaction.

INFORMATION WE COLLECT

Specialist ID obtains information about you when you use our Services. Please note that we need certain types of information so that we can provide Services to you. If you do not provide us with such information, or ask us to delete it, you may no longer be able to access or use all or part of our Services.

1. Information You Voluntarily Provide to Us

Specialist ID collects information directly from you in a variety ways including:

• The account registration process and the administration of your account;
• Receiving the questions, communications, or feedback you submit to us via email or online forms;
• Your participation in research and surveys; and
• Requests you submit for customer support and technical assistance, including through online chat functions, message, and text messages.

Specialist ID collects the following types of information directly from you:

• Name, mailing address, telephone number and email address;
• Billing and payment-related information. Full payment-card or bank-account credentials are processed by Shopify, payment processors, or the payment method you select. We generally receive transaction status, billing and contact details, and limited payment-method information needed to manage the order, refunds, fraud prevention, and recordkeeping.
• Log-in credentials;
• Information about purchases or other transactions with Specialist ID;
• Information about your customer service and maintenance interactions with us;
• User-generated content you post in public online forums on our Services; and
• Any other information you choose to directly provide to us in connection with you use of the Services.

We do not knowingly request or use biometric identifiers, health information, employment records, or information about children as part of our ordinary retail operations. Please do not submit such information through free-text fields, chat, uploaded custom artwork, or other customer-content features.

2. Information We Collect Through Automated Means

Specialist ID and our services providers (third-party companies that work on our behalf) use a variety of technologies to assist in collecting information about your use of the Services and the devices you use to access the Services.

Visitor Data. When you use our Website, we collect information that will help us understand and analyze your experience interacting with our Services. For example, we may collect information related to domain names, the type of browsers used to access the Services, operating system software, browser plug-ins, cookie preferences, search engine keywords, the pages you viewed and amount of time spent on particular pages, terms you use in you searches on our Website, and similar information.

Location Information. When you use the Services, we and our service providers may automatically collect general location information (e.g., IP address, city/state and or postal code associated with an IP address) from your computer or mobile device. This information allows us to enable access to content that varies based on a user's general location (e.g., to provide you with accurate sales tax information and to deliver content customized to your location).

Cookies and Similar Technologies

We and our vendors use cookies, pixels, tags, local storage, software development kits, server logs, and similar technologies. Some are strictly necessary to provide security, remember a cart, process checkout, maintain an account session, or honor privacy preferences. Others support analytics, customer service, personalization, advertising measurement, and interest-based advertising. The information collected may include device and browser identifiers, IP address, approximate location, pages and products viewed, referring URLs, interactions, searches, cart activity, and advertising identifiers.

3. Information We Collect From Social Media and other Content Platforms

Specialist ID maintains a presence on a variety of social media platforms. When you "like" or "follow" us on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, or other social media platforms, we may collect some information about you. This information includes your name, email address, any comments or content you post that is relevant to Specialist ID. We also collect your information if you sign up for a promotion and submit information to us through one of our social media accounts.

Specialist ID also maintains several blogs as a part of its Services. When you comment or post content to any of our blogs, we will collect your name and email address.

HOW WE USE YOUR INFORMATION

The following paragraphs describe how Specialist ID uses your information in connection with our Services.

General Use . Specialist ID will use your information as necessary to carry out and manage its Services. This includes, using your information to verify and administer your account, including processing payments and fulfilling orders (if applicable). We will use your information to communicate with you about Specialist ID's Services, your use of the Services or your inquiries related to the Services. Specialist ID will use your information to ensure that content from our Services is presented in the most effective manner for you and for your computer or device, allow you to participate in interactive features of our Services (when you choose to do so), and as part of our efforts to keep our Services safe and secure.

Improve Specialist ID's Services. Specialist ID continuously seeks to improve its Services. To do so, we conduct research to understand the effectiveness of our Services, improve our Services, and to better understand the Specialist ID community. If we publish the results of our research to others, such research will be presented in a de-identified and aggregate form such that individual users cannot be identified.

Promotional Communications. We may send marketing by email, postal mail, telephone, or text message where permitted by law and, when required, after obtaining separate consent. Consent to marketing is not a condition of purchase. You may unsubscribe from email using the link in the message and may opt out of text messages by replying STOP. Transactional or service communications, such as order, security, recall, or account notices, may continue even after you opt out of marketing. We do not treat creating an account or merely using the Website as consent to automated promotional calls or texts.

Marketing/Performance Analysis & Data Analytics. We will use your information to help us better understand your interests and needs, such as by engaging in analysis and research regarding use of the Services. We may use your information to measure or understand the effectiveness of advertising and content we serve to you and others, and to deliver and customize relevant advertising and content to you.

Combined Information. For the purposes discussed in this Privacy Policy, we may combine the information that we collect through the Services with information that we receive from other sources, both online and offline, and use and share such combined information in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

Aggregate/De-Identified Data. We may aggregate and/or de-identify any information collected through the Services so that such information can no longer be linked to you or your device ("Aggregate/De-Identified Information"). We may use Aggregate/De-Identified Information for any purpose, including for research and marketing purposes, and may also share such data with any third parties, including advertisers, promotional partners, and sponsors.

Legal Bases for EEA and UK Processing

When EEA or UK data-protection law applies, we rely on one or more legal bases: performance of a contract or steps requested before a contract, such as processing and delivering an order; compliance with legal obligations, such as tax, accounting, sanctions, safety, and consumer-protection duties; our legitimate interests, such as securing the Services, preventing fraud, providing customer support, improving operations, and measuring non-consent-based performance where those interests are not overridden by your rights; and consent for optional cookies, targeted advertising, or marketing where consent is required. You may withdraw consent at any time without affecting processing that occurred before withdrawal.

COOKIES, ANALYTICS, AND ADVERTISING

Depending on your location, choices, and our current configuration, analytics, search, customer-experience, and advertising technologies may include Shopify analytics and pixels; Google Analytics, Google Ads, and Google Tag Manager; Meta; Microsoft Clarity and Microsoft Advertising/Bing; LinkedIn; Leadfeeder; Klaviyo; Richpanel; Retention.com; Algolia; Pinterest; TikTok; Smile.io; and Identixweb. These providers may process device identifiers, online activity, approximate location, interactions, conversion events, and information used to match or measure audiences. Any privacy-preference center displayed on the Website identifies choices available for that browser or device.

We may use email analytics, such as pixels and tracked links, to learn whether a marketing or service message was opened or acted upon. Where consent is required, we use those tools only after consent. You can limit marketing-email analytics by unsubscribing or by configuring your email client to block remote images, although service messages may still be sent.

We do not sell personal information for money. We may disclose identifiers, commercial information, and internet or electronic activity to advertising and analytics partners in a manner that may be considered a "sale," "sharing," or targeted advertising under some U.S. state privacy laws. Depending on applicable law and the tools available on the Website, you may opt out through displayed privacy-preference controls or by contacting us with the subject line "Privacy Request."

If you exercise an opt-out preference, we will apply it to the browser, device, account, email address, or other identifier reasonably associated with your request, as applicable. An opt-out may not stop disclosures needed for security, fraud prevention, payment processing, order fulfillment, legal compliance, or other purposes permitted by applicable law.

A browser's legacy Do Not Track setting does not have a uniform legal or technical standard, so the Website may not respond to it. Other browser signals and platform privacy controls operate differently. If you believe a legally required privacy choice was not honored, contact us with the subject line "Privacy Request" so we can investigate. Opting out of targeted advertising does not eliminate all advertising, but it limits advertising based on activity across unaffiliated services.

HOW WE SHARE YOUR INFORMATION

Specialist ID may share your information in the following ways:

Affiliates & Related Business Entities. We may share the information we collect with our affiliates or related business entities for the purposes of delivering products or services to you, ensuring a consistent level of service, and to enhance our products, services, and your customer experience.

Service Providers and Transaction Partners. We disclose information to vendors that provide ecommerce and hosting, payments, fraud prevention, customer accounts, customer support, communications, analytics, advertising, personalization, security, data storage, professional services, and order fulfillment. These may include Shopify; payment processors and payment methods; Global-e for eligible Managed Markets transactions; carriers and customs providers; Klaviyo; Richpanel; and the analytics and advertising providers identified above. We also disclose shipping and order information to manufacturers, decorators, or fulfillment partners when needed to complete an order. Their roles may be those of service provider/processor or independent controller/business depending on the service and applicable law.

Shopify Hosting and Enhanced Services. Our store is hosted by Shopify, which processes personal information when you visit or make a purchase, including to provide services that use data from your interactions with our store, other merchants, and Shopify ("Enhanced Services"). Personal information will be disclosed to Shopify and other third parties that may be located in countries other than your own to provide these services. Depending on your jurisdiction, you may exercise certain choices concerning Shopify's processing through Shopify's privacy portal.

Legal Compliance, Safety, and Rights. We may preserve or disclose information when we reasonably believe it is necessary to comply with law, legal process, tax or regulatory obligations; enforce our agreements; investigate fraud, abuse, security incidents, or unlawful activity; protect the rights, property, or safety of Specialist ID, customers, or others; or establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.

Business Transfers. As Specialist ID continues to grow, we may buy, merge, or partner with other companies. In such transactions, your information may be among the assets that are transferred.

Public Forums. Certain features of our Services make it possible for you to share comments publicly with other users. Any information that you submit through such features is not confidential, and we may use it for any purpose (including in testimonials or other marketing materials). For example, if you submit a product review on one of our Websites or blogs, we may display your review (along with the name provided, if any) on other Specialist ID websites and on third-party websites. Any information you post openly in these ways will be available to the public at large and potentially accessible through third-party search engines. Accordingly, please take care when using these features.

Aggregate/De-Identified Information. We reserve the right to create Aggregate/De-Identified Data from the information we collect through the services and our sharing of such Aggregate/De-Identified Data is in our sole discretion.

DATA RETENTION

We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, including to provide and document orders and accounts; quote, proof, manufacture, fulfill, and support custom orders; administer warranties, returns, recalls, and customer service; maintain tax, accounting, customs, and transaction records; prevent fraud and protect security; honor suppression and opt-out choices; resolve disputes; and comply with legal obligations. The retention period depends on the type of record, the relationship with you, legal and contractual requirements, and whether the information is needed for a legal claim. When information is no longer required, we delete, de-identify, or securely isolate it as appropriate. Backup copies may remain until overwritten under normal backup cycles.

THIRD-PARTY LINKS AND CONTENT

The Website and email messages that you receive from Specialist ID may sometimes contain hypertext links to the websites of third parties. Specialist ID is not responsible for the privacy practices or the content of such other websites. Linked websites may contain links to websites maintained by third parties. Such links are provided for your convenience and reference only. Specialist ID does not operate or control in any respect any information, software, products or services available on such third-party websites. The inclusion of a link to a website does not imply any endorsement of the services or the site, its contents, or its sponsoring organization.

DATA SECURITY

We will implement reasonable and appropriate security procedures consistent with prevailing industry standards to protect data from unauthorized access by physical and electronic intrusion. Unfortunately, no data transmission over the Internet or method of data storage can be guaranteed 100% secure. Therefore, while we strive to protect your personal information by following generally accepted industry standards, we cannot ensure or warrant the absolute security of any information you transmit to us or archive at this Website.

INTERNATIONAL PROCESSING AND TRANSFERS

Specialist ID operates from the United States, and we and our providers may process information in the United States and other countries. Those countries may have privacy laws that differ from the laws where you live. Where EEA or UK law requires an international-transfer safeguard, Specialist ID and the relevant provider are responsible for using an appropriate legally recognized mechanism. You may contact us for additional information about an applicable safeguard.

For eligible international transactions processed through Shopify Managed Markets, Global-e may act as merchant of record and may independently process order, payment, customs, identity, fraud-prevention, and delivery information under disclosures provided at checkout. Shopify, Global-e, payment methods, carriers, customs authorities, and other transaction participants may have their own privacy responsibilities.

YOUR PRIVACY RIGHTS

Depending on where you live and whether a particular law applies to Specialist ID's processing, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or a copy of personal information; to object to or opt out of certain processing; to withdraw consent; and to appeal a decision. To submit a request, email sales@specialistid.com with the subject "Privacy Request" or write to the address in Contact Us. We may verify your identity by matching information associated with your account or order and may request additional information when reasonably necessary. We will not unlawfully discriminate against you for exercising a privacy right.

California

If the California Consumer Privacy Act applies, California residents may request to know or access the categories and specific pieces of personal information we collected; request correction or deletion; request information about categories of sources, purposes, and recipients; opt out of sale or sharing; and limit certain uses of sensitive personal information where applicable. We do not use or disclose sensitive personal information for purposes that require a separate limitation right. We do not knowingly sell or share personal information of consumers under 16.

A California resident may use an authorized agent. We may require proof of the agent's authority and may ask the resident to verify identity directly. Requests may be sent to sales@specialistid.com with the subject line "Privacy Request." If the California Consumer Privacy Act applies to our processing, we will also provide and honor any opt-out method or legally recognized browser signal required by that law. European Economic Area

If the EU General Data Protection Regulation applies, you may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction, and portability; object to processing based on legitimate interests or direct marketing; and withdraw consent at any time. You may lodge a complaint with the data-protection authority in the country where you live, work, or believe a violation occurred. You also have the right not to be subject to a decision based solely on automated processing that produces legal or similarly significant effects; we do not use solely automated decision-making of that kind for ordinary retail customers.

United Kingdom

If the UK GDPR applies, you may exercise the access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, objection, consent-withdrawal, and automated-decision rights described above. You may complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office at https://ico.org.uk or another competent authority.

Australia

If the Australian Privacy Act applies, you may request access to or correction of personal information and may complain about our handling of personal information. Please contact us first so we can investigate and respond. If you are not satisfied, you may contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at https://www.oaic.gov.au. Nothing in this Policy limits non-waivable rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

CHILDREN'S PRIVACY

The Services are not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 in the United States or under the higher minimum age that may apply where a child lives. Customers must have legal capacity to enter into a purchase agreement. If you believe a child submitted personal information to us, contact us so we can investigate and delete it as required.

CHANGES TO THIS PRIVACY STATEMENT

We may update this Policy prospectively to reflect changes in our practices, vendors, Services, or legal obligations. We will post the revised Policy with a new effective date and will provide additional notice when required by law. A prior version will continue to describe the practices that applied before the effective date of a material change unless applicable law permits otherwise.
