Description

Printer compatibility: This ribbon is made for the Evolis Securion ID card printer only. It is not compatible with the Quantum 2 and some older legacy Evolis printers. For Quantum 2 dual-sided printing, see the R3514 (500 prints per roll).

The Evolis R3314 HighTrust YMCKOK ribbon prints 200 dual-sided cards per roll on the Securion. The YMCKOK panel configuration prints a full-color front in a single pass and crisp black text on the back. No second ribbon required. No second printer pass required.

Front side uses five panels: Yellow, Magenta, Cyan, resin Black, and a clear Overlay. The Overlay applies a 2.7-micron protective varnish over the full front surface. Back side uses a dedicated resin Black panel for sharp text, barcodes, and data fields.

Evolis HighTrust ribbons carry an embedded RFID tag the Securion reads before every print run. This tag authenticates the ribbon, auto-configures print settings, and tracks remaining prints. Without a valid HighTrust ribbon, the Securion will not print.

Note: The Securion is a discontinued Evolis printer. Evolis continues to supply genuine ribbons for organizations running Securion units in service.
