Printer compatibility: This ribbon is made for the original Evolis Primacy ID card printer. It is NOT compatible with the Primacy 2, the Zenius 2, or the Zenius. If you have the Primacy 2 or Zenius 2, see the Evolis R6F203A100 instead.
The Evolis R6F003AAA is the genuine HighTrust® YMCKO-K color ribbon for the Primacy. It loads directly into the printer in its standard cassette. Each roll prints 200 full-color cards.
YMCKO-K means the ribbon has six panels per card: Yellow, Magenta, Cyan, and resin Black for a full-color front, plus a clear Overlay panel for card protection, then a second resin Black panel for printing black text or barcodes on the back. All in one pass. This eliminates the need to load a separate monochrome ribbon for the card back, cutting setup time and ribbon inventory in half.
All Evolis ribbons carry the HighTrust® designation. Evolis engineered HighTrust® media specifically for their printers to protect print head life, card durability, and overall printer reliability. Evolis states that using non-HighTrust® material may void your printer warranty. Which is why genuine ribbons from an authorized dealer matter.
