Printer compatibility: This ribbon is made for the Evolis Primacy 2 ID card printer only. It is NOT compatible with the Zenius 2, the original Primacy, or the original Zenius.
The Evolis R6F207NAAA is the genuine HighTrust® YMCKOO color ribbon for the Primacy 2. It loads directly into the printer in its standard cassette. Each roll prints 250 full-color cards.
YMCKOO means the ribbon has six panels per card: Yellow, Magenta, Cyan, and resin Black for full-color printing, plus two Overlay panels -- both applied to the front face of the card. The double overlay delivers 3 times better abrasion resistance than a standard YMCKO ribbon. This makes the YMCKOO the right choice when you need enhanced card durability without adding a laminator to your workflow. The two overlay layers can also be used independently -- one for UV security effects and one for physical card protection -- making the YMCKOO a capable security ribbon as well.
All Evolis ribbons carry the HighTrust® designation. Evolis engineered HighTrust® media specifically for their printers to protect print head life, card durability, and overall printer reliability. Evolis states that using non-HighTrust® material may void your printer warranty -- which is why genuine ribbons from an authorized dealer matter.
