Description

Printer compatibility: This ribbon is made for the Evolis Avansia and Avansia CLM retransfer ID card printers only.

The Evolis RT4F010AAA is the genuine HighTrust® YMCK color ribbon for the Avansia. Each roll prints 500 full-color cards using retransfer technology: the ribbon prints the image onto a clear transfer film, then the film is thermally transferred onto the card for true edge-to-edge coverage, including smart chips and irregular card surfaces. A clear retransfer film (RTCL009NAA, sold separately) is required to print.

YMCK means the ribbon has four panels per card: Yellow, Magenta, Cyan, and resin Black. Because retransfer technology uses the film as the protective topcoat, there is no separate Overlay panel. The film handles that.

Each Avansia ribbon ships with an Evolis electronic key that must be installed in the printer before the ribbon is loaded. Without the key installed, the Avansia will not print.

All Evolis ribbons carry the HighTrust® designation. Evolis states that exclusive use of HighTrust® ribbons is a warranty condition. Using non-HighTrust® material may void your Avansia warranty.
