Description
The 5730-3040 is a magnetic badge finding that attaches an ID badge to any garment without piercing the fabric or using a pin. The finding consists of three round magnets encased in durable plastic on the front side and a matching zinc-plated steel backing plate on the inside of the garment. The magnets grip through standard clothing fabric, holding the badge firmly in place throughout the day without leaving holes or wear marks.
Auto service centers, hospitality staff, retail associates, and trade show teams use them to keep ID and name badges visible without damaging workwear. Badge reel makers and crafters also use them as a no-pierce attachment for custom acrylic blanks, resin pieces, and decorated badge toppers. The magnetic backing bonds cleanly to flat acrylic and most hard surfaces with E6000 or similar adhesive. The slim profile measures 1 3/4" x 1/2" (45 x 13mm) and weighs 0.5 oz.
