Description
The SPID-1720 is a dual-sided RFID blocking badge holder for two standard CR80 ID cards. It holds one card on each side in a vertical format and keeps both credentials visible for visual inspection. The rigid hard plastic body protects cards from bending and daily wear while shielding 13.56 MHz contactless smart-card signals.
Customers often use this as a TWIC card holder, CAC holder, PIV card holder, or dual smart-card badge holder for access control credentials. This holder fits credit card sized credentials, including many CAC, PIV, TWIC, HSPD-12, access control, and secure ID cards. Cards slide into the holder from the top and side openings. The shielded construction helps prevent unwanted reads while the card is fully seated, and cards can be partially slid out when a reader needs direct access.
The top slot works with lanyards, badge reels, strap clips, and other standard ID attachments. Choose Clear (SPID-1720-CLEAR) or Translucent Blue (SPID-1720-BLUE). This holder is used by government employees, contractors, security teams, utility workers, healthcare staff, and other teams that carry two smart-card credentials.
Built to the same shielding standard previously used for GSA FIPS 201 electromagnetically opaque badge-holder sleeves. The current FIPS 201 Approved Products List no longer maintains a badge-holder sleeve category.
