Description

The 2135-454X is a 1/4" (6mm) round breakaway lanyard with a detachable split ring end fitting and a diamond slider. The cut length is 36" (914mm) prior to assembly. The detachable end fitting allows the wearer to quickly disconnect their credential or key ring from the lanyard -- to pocket it, hand it off, or use it at a reader -- then reattach it to the lanyard when it needs to be displayed again. The breakaway connector is designed to release when pulled apart at the connection point.

The diamond slider provides a 3/4" (19mm) imprint area on the lanyard front for custom printing or branding. The slider can be repositioned along the lanyard to adjust the hanging length. The round flat-braid construction is lightweight and comfortable for all-day wear.

Used by access control programs, security staff, and facilities personnel who need to detach their credential frequently throughout the day for reader scanning or temporary transfer without removing the lanyard. Key ring programs also use this lanyard to allow easy key removal and reattachment at workstations or access points. Available in black (2135-4541), navy blue (2135-4543), and red (2135-4544).
