Description
The HID FARGO 86094 is a replacement thermal printhead for the Fargo HDP6600 retransfer printer. Also known as the 086094. HID configured it for field replacement.
On a retransfer printer like the HDP6600, the printhead prints onto film rather than directly onto the card, so it is protected from card debris and tends to last a long time. When it does wear, you will see consistent thin lines or faded bands in prints that cleaning and new film do not fix. This part is configured for field replacement, so most users can install it without a service visit. It fits the HDP6600 only. The HDP5000 family uses a different printhead.
