Description

The 2120-7501 is a retractable badge reel with a top slot lanyard attachment. The open slot at the top threads directly onto any lanyard vinyl strap, swivel hook, or neck chain, turning your existing lanyard into a retractable reel system. The 34-inch retractable cord extends for badge swipes, tap access, and clock-in readers, then retracts automatically. Rated for 100,000 pulls. Reel diameter 1-1/4" (32mm).

Badge reel makers use this reel for wearable designs that hang from a lanyard rather than clip to a belt or pocket. The lanyard-mount style keeps decorated reels centered on the chest and facing forward, making it the preferred choice for crafters creating nurse badge reels, teacher badge reels, and custom ID accessories for clients who already wear a lanyard daily. The clear vinyl strap accepts any slot-punched ID badge or badge holder.

For professional environments, the top slot attachment gives a longer reach than a standard belt clip reel, making it easier to scan or tap credentials at access points, computer terminals, and time clocks without removing the lanyard (2120-7501).
