The Evolis ACL005 Printhead Cleaning Pen Kit contains 3 cleaning pens for direct print head maintenance on Badgy, Zenius, and Primacy series printers.
Each pen delivers isopropyl-based cleaning solution through a soft felt tip, allowing precise application directly to the print head surface. The tip removes ink and debris buildup that accumulates over time and causes streaking, banding, or loss of color intensity in prints.
Evolis recommends wiping the print head with a cleaning pen after each ribbon change. The pen applies cleaning solution only to the area that needs it, without over-saturating nearby components. For transport roller cleaning, pair with ACL003 adhesive cards or an ACL001/ACL002 complete kit.
