Description
The Evolis S10281 Elyctis Smart Encoding Installation Kit enhances Evolis printers by enabling contact encoding for smart cards. Once installed, Electys allows users to write to smart cards through contact encoding. In addition to the greater security, smart cards can hold more data, allowing for multiple complex applications to be stored within. An ideal encoding option for healthcare and financial industries, as smart cards can be programmed through the Elyctis to serve multiple functions.
The kit includes the Evolis Elyctis Smart Encoder, smart contact station, daughter board, and necessary cables. Installation is straightforward with the provided step-by-step guide; however, please note that the encoder's mounting plate (model S10112) is required to complete the installation and is sold separately.
