The Evolis S10281 is a contact smart card encoder kit that adds ISO 7816 chip encoding capability to Evolis printers. Once installed, the printer can read and write to contact smart cards in the same pass as printing, producing finished encoded credentials in a single job. The encoder supports standard contact chip protocols used in access control, PKI authentication, and multi-application credential programs.
This is a field-installable kit. For multi-key encoding environments, the optional S10176 extension board adds 2 SAM slots for loading multiple cryptographic keys simultaneously.
