The HID FARGO 89223 is a 200-card single input hopper cartridge with lock for HDP5000-family printers. Also known as the 089223.
PRINTER NOT INCLUDED HOPPER ONLY
The standard input hopper on these printers holds 100 cards. This cartridge doubles that to 200, so long batch runs need fewer refills. The lock matters when your card stock is itself a secure item, like pre-printed access cards or holographic stock. Locking the hopper keeps blank cards from walking away while the printer sits unattended. If you run batches over 100 cards or your printer lives in a shared space, this is a practical upgrade.
