The Entrust Datacard 508668-001 is a clear DuraGard overlaminate that applies a 0.5 mil protective film over printed ID cards. Each roll covers 350 single-sided laminations (or 175 dual-sided cards). The laminate bonds directly to the card surface, protecting printed text, photos, and barcodes from scratches, UV fading, and chemical exposure.
DuraGard overlaminates are applied inline by the printer's lamination module during the print process. No separate laminator is required. The clear finish preserves the original card appearance while adding a durable protective layer.
