Description
The Evolis LVA036NAA Continuous Varnish Hologram Ribbon is a high quality consumable designed to add a layer of security and durability to the ID cards. A continuous varnish hologram is an edge to edge transparent overlay with a specific image that hampers any attempt to duplicate the card. In this case, the ribbon sports an intricate repeating globe design. The ribbon can produce up to 1,200 prints per roll, ideal for businesses that require high volumes of printed cards, such as government agencies and financial services. Specifically designed for use with the Evolis Primacy 2, Evolis Agilia, and Evolis Avansia ID printers with lamination modules.
If your printer is equipped with a lamination module, producing a holographic overlay is as simple as installing the ribbon. A card lamination module is required for this ribbon to work properly. This ribbon is not compatible with smart contact cards or those with magnetic stripes (if lamination same side as mag stripe), as the lamination process can interfere with the card's functionality.
