The Evolis R2015 is the genuine HighTrust® white monochrome ribbon for the Quantum 2 and Securion. It loads directly into the printer in its standard cassette. Each roll prints 1000 cards.
The R2015 prints white resin elements directly onto the card surface. White ribbons are used to print white text or graphics on dark or colored card stock where standard YMCKO printing cannot produce white elements, or as part of a multi-pass workflow to create complex, layered card designs with white elements as a foundation layer.
All Evolis ribbons carry the HighTrust® designation. Evolis states that exclusive use of HighTrust® ribbons is a warranty condition. Using non-HighTrust® material may void your printer warranty.
