The Evolis R2016 is the genuine HighTrust® metallic gold monochrome ribbon for the Quantum 2 and Securion. It loads directly into the printer in its standard cassette. Each roll prints 1000 cards.
The R2016 prints reflective metallic gold elements directly onto the card surface. Metallic gold is used to add a premium, high-security look to ID cards and credentials. gold text, borders, logos, or design accents that are visually distinctive and difficult to replicate. It is commonly used in multi-pass workflows where the gold layer is printed first, then additional passes add color, black text, or security elements on top.
All Evolis ribbons carry the HighTrust® designation. Evolis states that exclusive use of HighTrust® ribbons is a warranty condition. Using non-HighTrust® material may void your printer warranty.
