Printer compatibility: This ribbon is made for the Evolis Quantum 2 and Securion ID card printers only.
The Evolis R2029 is the genuine HighTrust® BlackFlex monochrome ribbon for the Quantum 2 and Securion. Each roll prints 1,000 cards.
Unlike standard K (black resin) ribbons formulated for rigid PVC card stock, the BlackFlex formula is engineered to adhere to flexible substrates such as paper and Teslin cards. Use the R2029 when your card program requires printing on non-PVC flexible card stock in the Quantum 2 or Securion. For standard PVC cards, use the R2011 black monochrome ribbon instead.
All Evolis ribbons carry the HighTrust® designation. Evolis states that exclusive use of HighTrust® ribbons is a warranty condition. Using non-HighTrust® material may void your printer warranty.
