Printer compatibility: This ribbon is made for the original Evolis Primacy ID card printer. It is NOT compatible with the Primacy 2, the Zenius 2, or the Zenius. If you have the Primacy 2 or Zenius 2, see the Evolis R4F227NAAA instead.
The Evolis R4F027NAA is the genuine HighTrust® SO-KO color ribbon for the Primacy. It loads directly into the printer in its standard cassette. Each roll prints 250 full-color cards.
SO-KO stands for Silver-Overlay-Black-Overlay. Four panels per card: a Silver metallic panel that prints reflective silver elements on one side of the card, a first clear Overlay for protection, a resin Black panel for sharp black text or barcodes on the reverse side, and a second clear Overlay to protect the back face. This ribbon is the right choice for high-security or premium ID cards that require metallic silver elements alongside black print, with full overlay protection on both sides.
All Evolis ribbons carry the HighTrust® designation. Evolis engineered HighTrust® media specifically for their printers to protect print head life, card durability, and overall printer reliability. Evolis states that using non-HighTrust® material may void your printer warranty. Which is why genuine ribbons from an authorized dealer matter.
