Printer compatibility: This ribbon is made for the original Evolis Primacy ID card printer. It is NOT compatible with the Primacy 2, the Zenius 2, or the Zenius. If you have the Primacy 2 or Zenius 2, see the Evolis R7H206NAAA instead.
The Evolis R7H006NAA is the genuine HighTrust® 1/2 YMCKOKO color ribbon for the Primacy. It loads directly into the printer in its standard cassette. Each roll prints 250 cards.
1/2 YMCKOKO means the ribbon uses a half-panel format with full dual-sided capability: half-panel Yellow, Magenta, and Cyan panels plus resin Black print a full-color photo or graphic on the front of the card; a second resin Black panel prints text or barcodes on the back; and a clear Overlay panel protects the full card. All in a single pass. The half-panel YMC format increases yield versus full-panel while maintaining color quality across the image area.
All Evolis ribbons carry the HighTrust® designation. Evolis engineered HighTrust® media specifically for their printers to protect print head life, card durability, and overall printer reliability. Evolis states that using non-HighTrust® material may void your printer warranty. Which is why genuine ribbons from an authorized dealer matter.
