The Genuine TEMPbadge T8050 ExpireBand is a direct thermal printable self-expiring wristband, 1 x 9.75 inches, sold in a box of 400 (part number T8050).
How it works
Print the visitor's information on the wristband with a direct thermal printer, then fasten the band around the wrist. The band activates when it is applied, and color develops over about one day, overnight, about 10 to 15 hours, until a red VOID pattern shows along the band. ExpireBand is intended for indoor, climate-controlled events.

How it works
The color builds until the badge reads expired
Once the badge is activated, dye migrates at a steady rate and the expiring area shades from white to pink to red. These are the actual TEMPbadge lab shade charts; the dashed box marks the recommended expiration time.
Times are approximate. The timer is chemical: warmth and humidity speed it up, cool dry air slows it down.
Good to know
Expiration times are guidelines, not exact clocks. The timer is chemical and made for indoor use: warmer or more humid air runs it faster, cooler and drier air runs it slower. A 1-Day badge can expire in as little as 10 hours.
These are one-day bands. Color develops gradually and the band shows as expired overnight, about 10 to 15 hours after it is applied to the wrist.
Can wristbands be reused?
No. The band activates when applied and the color change cannot be reversed, so a band cannot be transferred or reused the next day.
