The HID FARGO DTC1250e is a direct-to-card ID card printer built for organizations that need professional, full-color credentials without a high-end price. This is the dual-sided base model, part number 050100, with a USB connection — it prints both sides of a card in a single pass, ideal for adding barcodes, data, or instructions to the back of the card.
The DTC1250e prints at 300 dpi, using dye-sublimation for photo-quality color and resin thermal transfer for sharp black text and barcodes. It accepts standard CR-80 cards from 9 to 40 mil and holds 100 cards in the input hopper. Supplies load in seconds: the EZ ribbon cartridge has an integrated cleaning roller that is replaced automatically with every ribbon change.
The DTC1250e grows with you. It is field-upgradeable with Ethernet and an internal print server, plus encoding for magnetic stripe, contact, and contactless smart cards.
