Description
The HID FARGO 82137 is a 500-count box of UltraCard Premium 30 mil CR-80 composite cards with a high-coercivity (HiCo) magnetic stripe. Also known as the 082137.
UltraCard Premium uses HID's composite polyester construction, which keeps the card from warping under heat. That matters in two cases. First, if your printer laminates cards, the lamination pass runs hot and pure PVC can warp. Second, retransfer printers like the HDP series also run hotter than direct-to-card. Composite cards handle both. They also survive longer in daily use than standard PVC. If you print with a basic direct-to-card printer and no laminator, standard UltraCard PVC like the 81751 does the same job for less.
