IDP 651298 SMART-70 Flipper Option Base
The IDP 651298 is the base structure that holds encoder and scanner options inside the SMART-70 hybrid flipper. The 651299 contact encoder, 651300 contactless encoder and 651301 dual scanner mount on it.
In the SMART-70, the hybrid flipper (651276) ships with an error card bin. IDP's manual says the bin comes out to make room for the encoders and scanner, which mount on the 651298 base structure. With an option fitted, the flipper connects to the printer's USB host port to pass encoding and scan data. IDP also sells flippers with these options already installed (651248 to 651252).
