IDP 651301 SMART-70 Flipper Dual Scanner
The IDP 651301 is a dual-sided scanner for the SMART-70 hybrid flipper. It takes a color image of both sides of a card at 300 or 600 dpi, about 4.5 seconds per card at 300 dpi and 6 seconds at 600 dpi, and reads 1D and 2D barcodes on the front and back.
In the SMART-70, the hybrid flipper (651276) ships with an error card bin. IDP's manual says the bin comes out to make room for the encoders and scanner, which mount on the 651298 base structure. With an option fitted, the flipper connects to the printer's USB host port to pass encoding and scan data. IDP also sells flippers with these options already installed (651248 to 651252).
