IDP 651362 Contactless Encoder, Ethernet
The IDP 651362 is the internal 13.56 MHz contactless smart card encoder for IDP SMART-51 direct-to-card printers that encode over the network. It reads and writes ISO 14443 Type A/B, MIFARE, DESFire and iCLASS cards as they print, so a networked SMART-51 can issue encoded access badges.
IDP does not mark it factory-only, and lists its SMART series encoders as field upgradeable. It needs a SMART-51 with Ethernet (651404, 651406, 651410 or the 651367 option). For USB encoding on the SMART-51, IDP's part is the factory-installed 653035.
