IDP 651363 SMART-51 Hopper and Ribbon Lock
The IDP 651363 is a keyed physical lock for IDP SMART-51 direct-to-card printers. It locks the card input hopper and the ribbon door, so blank card stock and ribbons can't be taken from a printer in a public or shared area.
With the lock fitted, cards can't be hand-fed into the printer one at a time; every card comes from the locked hopper. IDP does not state whether the lock is fitted at the factory or in the field, so order it with a new printer, or contact us with your printer's serial number before ordering it for an existing one. SMART-51L owners can lock the laminator film door too with the 651364.
