The IDP 651393 is the replacement thermal laminate head for the laminator module of the IDP SMART-51L. It is the heated head that bonds the patch laminate to the card. Uneven bonding, bubbles or patches that lift after lamination, when the film and cards are in spec, point to a worn laminate head.
It fits the SMART-51L laminator only; the printer section uses the 651411 print head.
