Overview
IDP 653379 YMCFK UV Ribbon, 500 Prints
The IDP 653379 is a YMCFK color ribbon with a UV panel for SMART-81 retransfer printers: the SMART-81S, SMART-81D and SMART-81HD, including the Secure SMART-81DS and SMART-81HDS. IDP rates it at 500 images.
Yellow, Magenta and Cyan print the full-color image and the resin Black panel prints sharp text and barcodes. The Fluorescent (F) panel prints UV-reactive text or images that stay invisible in normal light and show under a UV lamp, so a guard or front-desk can check a card at a glance. IDP's SMARTMark driver tool lets you pick the images or text that print on the F panel.
The ribbon comes without film. The SMART-81 prints onto retransfer film and bonds it to the card, so order the 653431 retransfer film with it. Each ribbon includes a fresh cleaning roller. The 500-print rating is for one-sided cards; full color on both sides uses a panel set per side, about 250 cards.
