IDP 653542 SMART-81 Security Lock
The IDP 653542 is the physical and electronic security lock for IDP SMART-81 retransfer card printers. It locks the printer's consumables, its blank cards and its ejected cards behind a key, so ribbons, retransfer film and card stock can't be removed or swapped by someone walking past the printer. It suits bank branches, government offices and any site issuing high-value credentials.
IDP does not say whether the lock can be fitted to a printer already in service. Order it together with a new SMART-81, or contact us with your printer's serial number before ordering it for an existing one. The SMART-81 also has a Kensington-type slot for cabling it to a desk.
