IDP 653708 Contact + Contactless Encoder
The IDP 653708 combines a contact and a contactless smart card encoder for IDP SMART-81 retransfer card printers. It programs ISO 7816 (ID-1) contact chips and 13.56 MHz ISO 14443 Type A/B, MIFARE, DESFire and ISO 18092 NFC cards, so one printer can issue dual-interface or mixed card stock.
It installs in the SMART-81's internal encoder bay, the same bay IDP documents as field-installable for its contact and contactless modules. Choose it over the single 653539 or 653540 encoders when you issue both chip types.
