Overview
IDP 654047 YMCPKO Ribbon, 200 Prints
The IDP 654047 is a six-panel YMCPKO security ribbon for SMART-32 and SMART-52 ID card printers. Yellow, magenta and cyan dye panels print full color, a pearlescent (P) panel adds a security layer, the black resin (K) panel prints sharp text and barcodes, and the clear overlay (O) panel protects the card. The P panel prints an image or text with an effect similar to the color-shifting ink seen on currency.
Each roll prints up to 200 single-sided cards. Printing full color on both sides of a card uses a panel set per side, about 100 cards per roll. The roll loads into the reusable ribbon cartridge that stays in your printer, and a new disposable cleaning roller comes with it; replace the roller each time you load a new ribbon. SMART-32 and SMART-52 printers read the RF tag on a genuine IDP ribbon and recognize the ribbon type automatically.
SMART-32 and SMART-52 ribbons carry a yellow tag and do not fit the SMART-31 or SMART-51, even though the ribbon cartridge carries over. Specialist ID is an authorized IDP dealer.
