IDP 900714 Dual-Frequency Encoder
The IDP 900714 is a factory-installed dual-frequency encoder built on the HID OMNIKEY 5127 reader. It encodes 13.56 MHz MIFARE, DESFire and iCLASS cards and reads 125 kHz proximity cards, for sites that run both high-frequency smart cards and legacy prox.
It is installed at the IDP factory only, so it must be ordered together with a new printer; it cannot be added later. IDP lists it for USB printers only, so pair it with a USB SMART-51 configuration or a SMART-81. If you only need to read card numbers, not encode, the 900715 reader-only option is the lower-cost choice.
