IDP 900715 Dual-Frequency Reader
The IDP 900715 is a factory-installed, read-only dual-frequency reader built on the HID OMNIKEY 5427. It reads 125 kHz proximity and 13.56 MHz DESFire and iCLASS cards as they pass through the printer, so your software can capture each card's number and print or log it against the cardholder. It does not encode; for encoding, choose the 900714.
It is installed at the IDP factory only, so it must be ordered together with a new printer; it cannot be added later. IDP lists it for USB printers only, so pair it with a USB SMART-51 configuration or a SMART-81.
