Overview
IDP 900900 YMCKO Ribbon Cassette, 250 Prints
The IDP 900900 is IDP's YMCKO ribbon kit for SMART-31 and SMART-51 ID card printers: the same 250-print full-color ribbon as the IDP 659366, already assembled in its own ribbon cassette with a cleaning roller. Yellow, magenta and cyan dye panels combine to print photo-quality color, the black resin (K) panel prints sharp text and barcodes, and the clear overlay (O) panel seals the card against fading, scratches and everyday wear.
A standard ribbon such as the IDP 659366 is a roll you thread into the reusable ribbon cassette that already lives in your printer. This kit comes pre-loaded in a cassette instead, so there is no threading: put the cassette in and print. It also gives you a ready-to-go spare. Each roll prints up to 250 single-sided full-color cards. On a dual-sided SMART-31D or SMART-51D, printing full color on both sides uses a full panel set per side, so a roll gives about 125 cards. If the back only needs black text or a barcode, the driver's K Ribbon Split setting prints the front in color and the back with the black resin panel from a single panel set, for up to 250 cards.
SMART-31 and SMART-51 ribbons do not fit the SMART-21, which takes its own ribbons, or the older SMART-30 and SMART-50. Specialist ID is an authorized IDP dealer.
