Overview
IDP 900911 YMCKO Ribbon Cassette, 350 Prints
The IDP 900911 is IDP's YMCKO EasyLoad ribbon kit for SMART-32 and SMART-52 ID card printers: a 350-print full-color ribbon pre-loaded in a cassette, with a cleaning roller. Yellow, magenta and cyan dye panels combine to print full color, the black resin (K) panel prints sharp text and barcodes, and the clear overlay (O) panel protects the card.
A standard ribbon such as the IDP 654013 is a roll you install in the reusable cartridge that stays in your printer. This kit comes pre-loaded in a cassette instead, which also gives you a ready spare. Each roll prints up to 350 single-sided full-color cards. Printing full color on both sides uses a full panel set per side, so a roll gives about 175 cards. If the back only needs black, the driver's Ribbon Save setting prints the front with the color and overlay panels and the back with the black resin panel from a single panel set, for up to 350 cards.
SMART-32 and SMART-52 ribbons carry a yellow tag and do not fit the SMART-31 or SMART-51, even though the ribbon cartridge carries over. Specialist ID is an authorized IDP dealer.
