PRIMA461 is the holographic snowflake overlay film Magicard made for the Prima 8. Each roll laminates 1,000 ID cards.
The holographic snowflake pattern is embedded in the overlaminate film itself. When applied by the Prima 8 laminator module, it bonds a tamper-evident, optically variable security layer directly over the printed card surface. The holographic pattern shifts under light, making cards significantly harder to copy or alter. This is a common requirement for government, healthcare, and corporate ID programs. Use composite ID cards (PVC/polyester blend) — composite stock handles the Prima 8 lamination heat without warping; standard PVC cards may warp.
