Description

PRIMA464 is the 1.0 mil clear patch laminate Magicard made for the Prima 8. Each roll laminates 600 ID cards.

At 1.0 mil, this patch is 67% thicker than the standard 0.6 mil PRIMA462. The added thickness provides greater resistance to abrasion, bending, and wear for cards used in high-friction environments such as access control, transportation, or frequent scanning. If your cards are handled, swiped, or tapped many times daily, PRIMA464 is the stronger choice over PRIMA462. Use composite ID cards (PVC/polyester blend) — composite stock handles the Prima 8 lamination heat without warping; standard PVC cards may warp.
