The Matica PR000819 chromXpert® Diamond retransfer film is a required consumable for Matica XID series retransfer printers. This genuine Diamond-line film is part of Matica’s premium "chromXpert" supplies, developed to provide the highest color reproduction and consistency for professional ID badge issuance.
In the retransfer process, your card design is first printed from the color ribbon onto this clear film. The film is then thermally bonded to the card surface, ensuring full "over-the-edge" coverage. This method is ideal for cards with irregular surfaces, such as smart cards with embedded chips, and provides an additional layer of physical protection for the printed image.
