The 1840-816X is a vertical open-face rigid plastic card holder that accepts standard credit-card-size inserts measuring 2.13" x 3.38" (54 x 86mm) within an outside holder dimension of 2.27" x 3.93" (58 x 100mm). The open-face design uses four side rails to grip the ID badge or access card firmly in place, exposing the full card face without a front panel covering the credential surface. Standard slot and chain holes at the top allow attachment to any lanyard, badge reel, or neck chain.

The side rail grip system provides a secure hold that keeps cards firmly positioned while allowing the full card face, including photo, name, and barcode, to remain completely exposed for fast visual inspection and contactless scanning without removing the card from the holder.
