The Entrust 529805-001 Wi-Fi Upgrade Kit adds wireless networking to compatible Entrust Sigma DS1, DS2, DS3, and DS4 direct-to-card printers. The kit contains one Wi-Fi USB dongle designed for the printer's designated USB connection, giving organizations a straightforward way to place a compatible Sigma printer on a wireless network.
Entrust documents Wi-Fi G and N operation on 2 GHz and 5 GHz bands. Network settings are managed in Printer Dashboard and can use DHCP or a static IP address. During setup, connect to the printer by Ethernet or USB, sign in with an administrator account, enter the wireless network and regional settings, verify the connection, and then disconnect the temporary wired connection.
