Description
The Zebra 800012-601 is a clear i Series transfer film for the ZXP Series 8 and ZXP Series 9 retransfer card printers. One roll prints 1250 images single-sided and 625 images dual-sided, so the figure you should plan against depends on how the printer is set up. All media for the ZXP Series 8 is compatible with the ZXP Series 9, including ribbons, laminate and cleaning supplies.
Transfer film is not a print ribbon and it is not what carries the color. The 800012-601 requires a separate color ribbon to work: the image is printed onto the clear film, which is then thermally bonded to the card. Transfer film is a separate supply from Zebra's retransfer print ribbons, which have their own part numbers - for example the 4 panel YMCK 800012-445 rated at 625 images, or the 5 panel YMCKK rated at 500 images - so the film and the ribbon are purchased as two separate items. Specialist ID only carries authentic Zebra printer supplies.
