Description
The 1815-1400 is a clear vinyl horizontal badge holder with a thumb-notch front panel, slot and chain holes, and an insert opening of 4.00" x 3.17" (102 x 81 mm). Outside dimensions are 4.30" x 3.90" (109 x 99 mm). Total vinyl thickness is 0.040" (1.2 mm) with a 0.030" (0.76 mm) back panel and a 0.010" (0.25 mm) front panel. This holder is sized for oversized horizontal name badges, convention credentials, and trade show inserts that are larger than a standard CR80 card.
The notched front panel allows quick credential removal without tools or sliding mechanisms. The thicker back panel provides structural support while the thin front panel stays flexible for insertion. Slot and chain holes at the top support attachment to lanyards, badge reels, and neck chains. The horizontal orientation positions the badge face-forward across the chest, which is the standard layout for printed name tags and conference credentials where the name and affiliation text runs horizontally on the insert.
Flightsafety International and MN Elder Justice Center are the two largest institutional buyers alongside individual customers. Aviation training programs and nonprofit social services both operate structured badge programs at scale, and the 4" x 3" oversized format is used for conference attendees, training participants, and visiting credential holders. The 0.030" back panel construction provides the structural rigidity needed to support large-format inserts without the holder folding or sagging during extended wear at multi-day training or conference events.
